By purchasing this item, you are securing a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted solid wood dining table as per the images.

This large live edge dining table is crafted from a single, ultra-rare 50mm thick Pippy Poplar (Mappa Burr) slab, measuring 240cm x 100cm. Black epoxy resin will be infused into the natural features to enhance the intricate burr patterns, wild grain, and organic live edges, while adding both strength and bold visual contrast.

Once completed, the table will look similar to this one we previously made, but with the distinctive tone and character of Mappa Burr.

Each piece is individually handcrafted by artisan Sam Sorrell in our workshop in Wickford, Essex, using traditional woodworking techniques — no mass production, just care, skill, and exceptional craftsmanship. The finished result will seat 10 people comfortably and suit both modern and rustic interiors.

This rare slab is listed for pre-order due to its uniqueness. Once finished, this table will make an unforgettable centrepiece in any dining or meeting space.
