Handmade Live Edge Mirrors, Made to Measure

Every mirror is made by hand in our own workshop in Wickford, Essex, from the first cut of the timber to the final finish. It is the same workshop, and the same small team, that makes our dining tables.

We make each mirror individually rather than working from a fixed set of standard sizes. If you have a particular wall, fireplace, hallway or space to fill, simply choose the dimensions you need.

The frame is made from real solid timber, with the natural live edge forming part of the finished design. Knots, grain, figuring and variations in the edge are deliberately retained rather than manufactured to look identical from one mirror to the next.

Our standard range is available in French Oak and English Elm, but if you’re looking for another timber species or a mirror larger than 2 metres, please get in touch and we can discuss making something specifically for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you make a live edge mirror to a custom size?
Yes. Our mirrors are made to order and can be produced in custom dimensions from approximately 40cm up to 200cm. If you need something larger, contact us with the dimensions and we can advise what’s possible.
Are the mirrors made from solid wood?
Yes. The frames are made from solid French Oak or English Elm. We don’t use timber-effect veneers to create the live edge.
Will my mirror look exactly like the photographs?
No two pieces of natural timber are identical. Grain, colour, knots and the shape of the live edge will vary from one piece to another. That’s part of what makes each mirror unique.
Where are your mirrors made?
Our live edge mirrors are handmade in our workshop in Wickford, Essex.
Do the mirrors include the glass and wall fixings?
Yes. Mirror glass and suitable fixings are supplied with the finished mirror.
Can you make a mirror in another type of wood?
Potentially, yes. We regularly work with a range of solid hardwoods. Contact us with the size and timber you’re looking for and we’ll let you know what’s available.

Wood and glass, in harmony

Working with both wood and glass is our speciality. Alongside our mirrors we make toughened glass tabletops cut to any size and shape, solid timber dining tables, and worktops and tables that bring the two materials together.

If you have a bespoke project in mind that combines wood and glass, whether a table, a worktop or something else entirely, we would be delighted to quote for it.
